Emotional Eating Actionables


We want to connect with our emotions in a healthy way, instead of using avoidant strategies like emotional eating to ignore them – as while these strategies are effective in the short term, they don’t serve our health and happiness in the long term.

In this journal we review all the fantastic tips offered by psychologist Julie Pelletier, from embodyhope.com and look at the different coping tools we can use to deal with strong emotions (instead of food), how to start putting these into practice, and thus to start overcoming emotional eating.
